Dr. Shereen is a highly esteemed clinician specializing in women’s health, with a career spanning over two decades across the UK and the UAE.
She earned her medical degree (MBBS) from the University of London in 1997 and went on to receive Diplomas in both Obstetrics and Gynaecology (DRCOG) and Family Planning (DFFP) from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 2002.
In 2012, Dr. Shereen obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Journalism from the London School of Journalism and further enhanced her academic portfolio with a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education from the University of Sussex in 2020. She is currently working on her Master’s in Clinical Education, currently in the dissertation phase.
In addition to her clinical roles, Dr. Shereen is a dedicated medical educator, serving as a remote lecturer for Brighton and Sussex Medical School. She is passionate about empowering others through education and is involved in women’s health initiatives for refugees and migrants.
She also holds leadership roles in motorsports medicine, serving as Chief Medical Officer for the Formula 1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix and other major events, where she oversees medical response, training, and emergency planning.
As a general practitioner, Dr. Shereen Habib provides comprehensive routine check-ups and preventative care for children, men, and women. Her expertise extends to managing prenatal and postnatal conditions, offering pregnancy counseling, and guiding patients through contraception and family planning. She also specializes in treating menstrual disorders such as menorrhagia and dysmenorrhea, and helps women navigate various stages of reproductive health with a patient-centered approach.
