Dr. Sally is a Consultant Pediatric Dentist and researcher with more than 15 years of experience treating children, alongside an academic career in pediatric dentistry teaching and research.
She earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from Ain Shams University in Egypt in 2001, followed by a Master's degree in Pediatric Dentistry from the same university in 2010. During her postgraduate studies, she carried out stem cell research at Charles University in the Czech Republic, in 2008, for which she received a formal letter of recognition from the university. She went on to complete her PhD in Pediatric Dentistry at Cairo University in 2017, with doctoral research focused on the use of dental stem cells in bone regeneration.
Dr. Sally has held specialist pediatric dentistry positions across Ras Al Khaimah, Sharjah, and Dubai. Alongside her clinical work, she served as Assistant Professor and Senior Lecturer in Pediatric Dentistry at RAK College of Dental Sciences, teaching undergraduate dental students and supervising clinical training, and continues to work as a researcher with the National Research Centre in Egypt.
She has authored a number of peer-reviewed publications on pediatric dental care, including research on dental trauma management, oral healthcare for children with autism, and dental stem cell therapy.
Dr. Sally is known for forging a connection with her young patients, taking a calm, reassuring approach that helps even anxious children feel at ease in the dental chair. Her focus is on preventive care, restorative treatments such as fillings, crowns, and pulp therapy, and procedures including extractions, space maintainers, fissure sealants, and fluoride application.
She is experienced in treating anxious and uncooperative children under nitrous oxide sedation, and places a strong emphasis on educating young patients and their parents on proper oral hygiene to support long-term dental health.
