Dr. Salam is a dynamic and motivated Specialist Orthodontist with over 25 years of experience in Jordan, Turkey, and the UAE. She has been a part of Drs. Nicolas & Asp since 2001 and is recognized by her patients for upholding exceptional standards of care.
Dr. Salam started her practice soon after graduating from Cairo University, Egypt in 1994. Furthering her expertise, she received her PhD in Orthodontics with a subspecialty in cleft lip and palate management from Ege University, Turkey in 2001.
While working on her PhD, she taught undergraduate students at Ege University. During this time, she also treated patients using fixed and removable orthodontic appliances, performed full management of cleft lip and palate cases, and collaborated with plastic surgeons in orthognathic cases.
She offers a comprehensive range of orthodontic treatments and welcomes patients of all ages into her care.
She has a special interest in interceptive orthodontics for children using removable and fixed appliances, and adult orthodontics using Damon metal and ceramic Braces. She is also a Certified Provider of Invisalign and Eon Aligners.
Dr. Salam’s patient-centric approach is a hallmark of her practice. She is dedicated to delivering excellent patient care while remaining mindful of her patients’ time, individual preferences, and needs.
She is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the World Federation of Orthodontists, the Emirates Medical Association, and the Jordanian Dental Association.
