Dr. Yazan is a general dentist with a particular interest in microscopic endodontics. He has many years of clinical experience and was a tutor in many endodontic courses prior to joining Drs. Nicolas & Asp Centers.
He embarked on his dental journey at Damascus University, obtaining his BDS in 2017. His passion for endodontics propelled him to pursue a Master's in Endodontics & Operative Dentistry from his alma mater in 2022. Further solidifying his expertise, he received his board certification in Endodontics from Syria in 2023.
Dr. Yazan performs all aspects restorative and cosmetic dentistry including fixed prosthodontics, inlays/onlays, composite restorations, along with expertise in root canal treatments and re-treatments involving broken files, perforations, and open apex management.
He worked as clinical instructor for postgraduate and undergraduate students in endodontics at Damascus University and Syrian Private University. He is a member of the Syrian Endodontics Association. He also served as a Key Opinion Leader for Woodpecker®.
Dr. Yazan continuously seeks out training and professional development opportunities through attendance and contributions to both national and international conferences. He is also keen on research and evidence-based dentistry. He has contributed to numerous local research projects at his university and published his work in peer-reviewed journals.
He speaks English and Arabic.
