Our Patients Rights
Being a valued patient at Drs. Nicolas & Asp, you and your family have the following rights:
- Know the identity (name and specialty) of the dentist and/or doctor responsible for your care.
- Receive from the dentist and/or doctor, in a simple understandable manner (through a translator if needed), comprehensive information about your diagnosis, proposed treatment; alternative treatments; therapy advantages and disadvantages and the expected results of ignoring the treatment.
- Participate in your care decision-making. Drs. Nicolas & Asp encourages patients, to the extent they wish, to participate in planning and implementing treatment with their dentist and/or doctor.
- Enjoy privacy while carrying out all examinations and treatments at Drs. Nicolas & Asp, and maintain confidentiality of all your information.
- Choose the treating dentist and/or doctor (depends on availability), as well as the option to reject him/ her upon furnishing a genuine reason.
- Receive - upon your request - an itemized bill explaining all charges regardless of whether they are paid by yourself or by another source.
- Complain, suggest and comment on services through the customer satisfaction form or email directly your comments or complaints to the Operations Manager via our website www.nicolasandasp.com
- Have access to your records, subject to the agreement and the supervision of your treating dentist and/or doctor and in compliance with Drs. Nicolas & Asp policies and legislative requirements.
