Our Patients Rights

Being a valued patient at Drs. Nicolas & Asp, you and your family have the following rights:

  1. Know the identity (name and specialty) of the dentist and/or doctor responsible for your care.
  2. Receive from the dentist and/or doctor, in a simple understandable manner (through a translator if needed), comprehensive information about your diagnosis, proposed treatment; alternative treatments; therapy advantages and disadvantages and the expected results of ignoring the treatment.
  3. Participate in your care decision-making. Drs. Nicolas & Asp encourages patients, to the extent they wish, to participate in planning and implementing treatment with their dentist and/or doctor.
  4. Enjoy privacy while carrying out all examinations and treatments at Drs. Nicolas & Asp, and maintain confidentiality of all your information.
  5. Choose the treating dentist and/or doctor (depends on availability), as well as the option to reject him/ her upon furnishing a genuine reason.
  6. Receive - upon your request - an itemized bill explaining all charges regardless of whether they are paid by yourself or by another source.
  7. Complain, suggest and comment on services through the customer satisfaction form or email directly your comments or complaints to the Operations Manager via our website www.nicolasandasp.com
  8. Have access to your records, subject to the agreement and the supervision of your treating dentist and/or doctor and in compliance with Drs. Nicolas & Asp policies and legislative requirements.
